Technical Consulting & Architecture
Make the right technical call before it becomes expensive to undo.
Already have a team or a codebase? We review, advise, and sometimes embed directly — helping you make architecture and technology decisions with someone who’s accountable for the outcome, not just the recommendation.
How it works
From first call to working software
- 1AuditClear-eyed review of what’s actually running.
- 2DiagnoseIdentify the real bottleneck, not the assumed one.
- 3RecommendTrade-offs stated plainly, no single "right answer" sold.
- 4SupportEmbed during the critical build phase if needed.
Fit
Who this is for
Good fit
Teams with an existing product or in-house engineering team who need an outside technical perspective — before a major decision, after a system has started showing strain, or when bringing on a new engineering lead and wanting a second opinion on direction.
Not for you if
Not a fit if you’re looking for us to just validate decisions you’ve already made — we’ll tell you what we actually think, including when it’s not what you expected to hear.
Why Bitsoven
Bitsoven vs. the default approach
| Typical dev shop | Bitsoven | |
|---|---|---|
| Who builds your software | Account manager + rotating contractors | The engineers who scoped it, start to finish |
| Technology choices | Whatever's trending | Chosen for the problem, explained in plain terms |
| Own products | Rarely ships their own software | Runs its own SaaS on the same stack and standards |
| Code visibility | Closed process until delivery | Some work is open source — inspect quality before hiring |
Questions
FAQ
Is this a one-time audit or an ongoing engagement?
Either. An audit can be a one-time engagement, and we can also embed during a critical build phase or keep advising your team as you go. We'll decide together which fits once we understand your situation.
Will you work alongside our existing engineering team?
Yes — this is often collaborative rather than a hand-off report.
What if the audit finds we need a full rebuild?
We’ll tell you if that’s genuinely the case, and what a phased path to it looks like rather than recommending a rebuild by default.
Do you offer this before we’ve written any code, at the planning stage?
Yes — early architecture review is often the highest-leverage point to bring us in.
Not sure if your architecture will hold up?
A second technical opinion is cheaper before the decision ships than after.
