Bitsoven Solutions logicielles et numériques Inc. ("Bitsoven", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through bitsoven.com, why, and what rights you have, in line with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and other applicable Canadian law.
Who is responsible
Bitsoven Solutions logicielles et numériques Inc. is based in Gatineau, Quebec. The person in charge of the protection of personal information is Abdelmadjid Cherfaoui, Founder. You can reach him at contact@bitsoven.com.
What we collect
- Information you send us: when you write to us through the contact form or by email, we receive your name, email address, company (if you give it) and the content of your message.
- Technical data: our hosting provider processes standard connection data (such as IP address, browser type and request logs) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We do not use advertising trackers or analytics tools on this site, and it does not set cookies.
Why we use it
- To reply to your message and discuss or quote a project.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising or profiling. By sending us a message you consent to our using it to respond to you.
Who handles it, and where
This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which operates a global network, so connection data and contact-form submissions may transit or be processed outside Quebec and outside Canada. Messages you send through the contact form are stored in our customer-relationship management (CRM) system, which we host ourselves. Messages you send by email are handled by our email provider on our behalf. We do not share your information with anyone else except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, then we securely delete or anonymize them.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to stop using it, to delete it, or to withdraw your consent. Write to contact@bitsoven.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, and we will notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information as required if a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change we will update this page and its “last updated” date.
